Why should you have a consultation?
A consultation allows you to ask detailed questions regarding your case. Each case is different and there are details that an attorney must be aware of in order to provide well thought out answers. In addition, there might be documents that need to be reviewed in order to evaluate your situation properly. A consultation allows you to interview an attorney to see if the attorney is knowledgeable and whether you feel that you would be comfortable working with that attorney. In a family law case, it is common that you will have to tell your attorney personal and confidential details about your life. An in person, face to face conversation will make it easier for you to determine if you feel comfortable working with someone.

As every case is different, we usually do not offer a flat fee or set price for our legal services. After the consultation, we will be better able to estimate the scope of work that would be involved in handling your case.
